Choose the ideal paint booth
A paint booth is designed to vacuum and filter hazardous substances such as oversprays (mist) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It thus prevents the spread of particles, odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the workshop or outside. In addition to protecting the environment and complying with regulations, it guarantees the safety of employees and facilities. Isolating the painting process in a booth also ensures high quality work, free of contaminants like dust.
Paint booth specifications
The specifications for a paint booth must allow the buyer of such an installation to formalize his requirements in terms of technical performance and health and safety criteria.
Choosing the ideal filter for your paint booth

Installation of the Technicis pleated cardboard filter
Pleated cardboard filters manufactured by Technicis Filtration are designed for filtering the mist generated when spraying paint or varnish with a gun. They are suitable for use both in open so-called “wall” cabins (horizontal air flow) or in closed cabins with floor suction (vertical air flow).
Principle of operation of the Technicis pleated cardboard filter
The Technicis Filtration pleated cardboard filter, also called a cellular or “accordion” paper filter, is made up of 2 layers of recycled cardboard, perforated, pleated and assembled with glue. It is suitable for capturing and filtering overspray or mist generated during spraying processes for liquid products (paints, varnishes, glues, resins, etc.) in suction cabins (vertical or horizontal flow). We will explain to you the operating principle of the Technicis pleated cardboard filter, unique because it resides in the combination of overspray capture by impact and separation by inertia. All Technicis pleated cardboard filters have been manufactured in our Nantes factory since 1992.
